I need someone who's really deep in the Stephen king universe to write a fic where reader is part of the losers club and has the shine and it's really really strong but still doesn't really know how to use it to it's fullest *yet* but manages to surprise and kinda actually weaken It, like Dick Halloran (because as we know in this universe there are some REALLY strong shine, like Abra Stone, that can go against some entities toe to toe and win). It could show her learning how to use her power and how to use them to defeat Pennywise. I don't know, just an idea.

Pennywise is the kind of jilted lover who would sing 'My tears ricochet' for Dick and absolutely relate to the lyrics without sparing a thought that, maybe, just maybe, he wasn't the wronged party.

Pennywise : Even on my worst day, did I deserve, babe. All the hell you gave me?

Dick: Nah. You deserved worse.

Pennywise: You had to kill me, but it killed you just the same. Cursing my name, wishing I stayed.......

Dick: Your honor, do NOT believe a word that comes out of this creature's mouth.

Is Dick Hallorann an anomaly that changes the IT Universe course from the original ending for the movies?

I’m pondering this as we have a Pennywise saying IT’s aware of all times is in, but when Dick and him meet, he doesn’t know who Dick is.

That’s a bit odd to me as he knows who Marge is even as a teenager.

So this had me wondering if something changed to case the events of the show to alter slightly from what it was originally that leads up to the movies.

Dick is in the novel and present in Derry and helps create the Black Spot and save people during the events.

But what if something triggered a change in his role to be that of a chef like in the books to become an aid in finding IT and using his shinning openly unlike previously and that’s why IT didn’t know who he was before.

Perhaps the original timeline Dick was just a chef and kept his shinning on the down low.

Something caused a change to make Dick more of a key role.

Perhaps the original timeline Pennywise never had an escape attempt. There was no military trying to find him and free him. So Dick wasn’t needed in a role of using his shinning.

If Shaw hadn’t taken an experimental drug that reminded him of IT, Dick would not be looking, this ignored.

I know many have said the time travel doesn’t work a certain way in the show, but the idea of slight changes causing ripples to alter to a degree to cause a chaos and change for IT’s existence seems likely what’s going on to me.

Question will be if we see these characters again and get an answers to if that’s the case or not and what is going on.

In all it stands out to me Pennywise not knowing who Dick is as a strange if they’ve met before in the same way.

Why it feels more Pennywise is reliving and pushing at points to cause ripple to create a wave and hoping for a tsunami event.
