I’ve noticed nwrook still has his b’inthak… is there a lore reason for this or does he jus look 🆒👀

Grin slowly spreads across my face....oh there's a lore reason alright....in fact, its a huge part of his character :) and part of the reason hes such a huge asshole!!!!!!

His b'inthak is supposed to represent a lot of things, but most importantly...it represents his shame. On revonnah, he was a social outcast because of it. His father did not care to give him a name and barely even referred to him with the family name. In fact, he didnt even refer to him as his son😭 Not losing your b'inthak is rare, so rare that no one knows how to deal with it in a civilized manner, which is why Rook became such an outsider to his own community. People did not know how to refer to him, nor how to include him in daily tasks because they didn't know how to treat him. There was a stigma around revonnahganders who didnt lose their b'inthak, that they were too "immature" and underdeveloped, so Rook was constantly treated as a child even though he was like....16. It made him quiet in his teen years, complacent, decided that if no one was going to acknowledge him than he shouldn't even bother. But he would disobey his father CONSTANTLY to rebel against him. His father got fed up with him and sent him to the plumber academy as a punishment(an idea he got from the plumbers already stationed on Revonnah) sorta like sending ur kid to military school. And wouldn't you believe it...it made him WORSE🥹🥹🥹 being surrounded by people who didnt know he was a "failure" back home fueled his desire to completely forget about everything his society told him he was. He stole his grandfathers name, Blonko, and put on this persona that exuded "im super cool, nothing bad ever happens to me" vibes. Fiona only fueled this more when they met, and encouraged him to play up the "coolness" act which...slowly just turned into him weaponizing his insecurities to get what he wants 🤔 and he became a huge asshole🤔 and then ben found out about the whole b'inthak thing and used it against him🤔🤔 and then Rook beat him to a pulp🤔🤔🤔 sorta🤔🤔🤔

Bens scar is actually from a fight with Rook where he accidentally grabbed onto Rooks tail and set off his fight or flight LMAO obviously he chose fight😅
