#dick needs therapy

DC X DP PROMT #14

Hello my friends! New Promt! Ps. Pick a dc character you want me to fit in a promt. (I like asking questions)

Dick Grayson had no idea what was going on.

Nor did he want to know.

It all started when Bruce informed the family that a recently orphaned Danial Fenton would be coming to stay with them.

Did it bother him? No! Dick was looking forward to having another sibling (dont say he's not Bruce, for God's sake, he has black hair and blue eyes), the only problem was with Damian.

Dick and the family had worked hard to show Damian that everyone was equally loved and that he wasn't getting sent back to the league for simple mistakes.

Dicks biggest achievement was getting Tim and Damian to get along, though they made a rather terrifying duo.

But anyway, that wasn't the point.

The thing was when the boy finally arrived, other then a scowling Damian, everything was fine.

The boy, Danial who liked to be called Danny, was shy and sweet in the beginning and quite nervous to be around the family, but once he warmed he was cracking jokes and puns like their was no tomorrow.

Dick thought it was a bit odd that Danny was so cheerful after just losing his family, but, everyone has their own coping mechanisms, and as long as he didnt decide to pick up a furry costume and prance into the night to fight crime, Dick would support.

Oddly enough, Tim, Damian, and Danny were the ones to get along best, and Dick found it absolutely adorable (at the time. Never mind, no matter their plans, their still cute), though he heard Jason mutter something along the lines of "God damn it, they've band together, we're all doomed."

Which Dick thought was a bit of an exaggeration.

So what if they smiled when news came of lexcorp blown up, and their funds and stocks drastically decreasing.

So what if they sat together laughing adorably (or in Damians case a small warm smile), while surrounded by sheets of paper detailing plans to destroy the league of assassins (Did Danny figure out their identities???)(they called somone named Jazz for advice, should he be concerned?)

So what if when Dick decided to surprise them and barged into their game room to find several assassins and Slade wilson on the floor, tied up masterfully, unable to move a muscle and knocked out while the boys played video games.

It didn't matter, they were adorable.

So why was Dick so frightened now?

Good question.

"Er... Damian why are you and Tim holding Ra's Al Ghul at knife point? And why the FUCK DOES DANNY LOOK LIKE A DAMN ELDRITCH MON- CREATURE!!! AND OH MY GOD, DANNY WHAT IN THE NAME OF DEMENTORS IS THAT, ARE YOU SUCKING OUT HIS SOUL?!?!?!"

Dick might have miscalculated.

Therapist NOW AU – It’s me or a stranger

Dick is Wally’s best friend, no doubt there. They always have each other’s back and would do anything for the other, as long if it isn’t stupid though. Then it’s a free-for-all and let’s say, a flirty wally and a sarcastic dick, make for an interesting combination of people who know each other like the back of their hand. Especially if the wally can’t keep his mouth in check most of the time and the dick is too stubborn for his own good. Which bring us to the current situation.

The redhead was sitting with his best friend in his Keystone apartment, eating popcorn whilst watching a movie. It was some horror movie with mind-fuckery; the main character was having strange dreams and hallucinations and was slowly losing his mind, there was also another “new boy” that was super mysterious, or something along those lines. Wally wasn’t sure what the story exactly was about anymore, the movie was just so bad. “Wait, did he just punch new guy in the face?” “He just did.” Wally frowned, confused. “Why?” Dick shrugged, putting a handful of popcorn in his mouth. Watching for another minute, Wally rolled his eyes at the ridiculousness. “Dude, he needs a therapist. Like, what he is doing is so not healthy.” The speedster threw his hands towards the TV. “I mean, he’s losing sleep, is pushing away his friends and refuses any help, which he legitimately needs. If that isn’t destructive and stupid, I don’t know what is. Niklas, Nycto, whatever your name is, you’re too stubborn for life.”

Dick snorted at Wally’s tirade; it’s more interesting than the movie and entertaining by far. “Oh, really?” The redhead looked deadpan at the brunet. “You have no right to say shit, Mister Sleep-is-for-the-weak. When are you going to get a therapist yourself, hm?” Dick rolled his eyes. “God, you sound like a disappointed mother.”

Wally squinted at the acrobat, before relaxing and turning back to the movie. “But, seriously. When are you gonna get one?” The unimpressed look was very impressive that Wally received. “When are you gonna let it go. Besides-,” Dick had a mocking smirk on his face. “I’m going to get one when B gets one, no sooner or later. I will out-stubborn him on this one.”

Looking over to Dick, Wally wasn’t sure if that was the best course of action, at least for Dick. “What if I became a therapist? And made you my first client?” Dick glanced to Wally and shrugged after a second. “If you became one before your birthday, sure.” Dick snorted. “But your birthday is in January and it’s Mai. You would have to become a therapist in under a year.” Amused, Dick turned to Wally. “No offence, but I don’t know how you would manage that in 9 months, speedster or not, there is still the paperwork and public appearance you have to look out for.”

The redhead pushed the brunet jokingly. “Yeah, doubt I’ll do that.” Wally laughed, but couldn’t help it when the thought stuck to the back of his mind.

Wally confidently walked up to the manor at a normal walking pace for once, he wanted to soak in his victory. It took a lot of work and cutting some corners, but he finally made it. In just 7 months, he became a certified Therapist- Public image be damned, and he just knew who to make his first patient. Knocking on the big wooden door, Wally straightened his shirt and shoulders, confidently looking as the door opened. Alfred looked mildly surprised when he saw the redhead. “Oh, Mister Wallace, we did not expect you. What brings you here?” Wally pleasantly smiled at the butler. “I came to surprise Dick. Did you know that I now a certified Therapist?” Alfred stepped aside and motioned for him to come in. “Certainly not. Congratulations, Mister Wallace. Am I right to assume that you are here to tell Master Richard about it?” Stepping in, Wally walked towards the stairs and Dick’s room. He looked smugly over his shoulder when he replied. “Yup! He sure is gonna be happy to hear the news, I’m sure.” He no less purred.

Alfred observed as the speedster stepped up the stairs and disappeared behind the corner, musing how lucky Master Richard was to have Mister Wallace as a friend.

The redhead walked down the hallway and knocked on the all-too-familiar door, which a certain brunet opened. “Oh!” Dick raised his eyebrows, surprised. “What’s up?” He leaned against the door frame and looked Wally up and down, trying to figure out what brought on the surprise visit. Wally grinned at the other. “Remember a few months ago? When you said that if I became a therapist before my birthday, you would be my first patient?” The acrobat froze and slowly straightened himself. “Yeah…I did say that. But it was a joke thou.” The speedster waved him off. “Whether or not it was a joke or not, doesn’t matter. What matters is that I am a therapist now and you are my patient.”

Taking a step back, Dick squinted. “You have to catch me first.” Wally smirked and got in a run-ready position. “You can go ahead and try outrun a speedster.” “Who said anything about running?” He said, before slamming the door shut and locked it. Startled, Wally blinked and knocked. “Dick?” He asked through the thick wooden door. “You can’t stay in there forever.” A reply came muffled from behind the door. “Try me, bitch.” Nervously sweating, Wally gulped. Oh boy.
