So at work I'm talking to my coworker and we end up talking bout about dating and he asks me about when I last had a man. Me: it was a woman, actually, about q year ago. We broke up though. Him: so who was the man and who was the woman? Me: we were both the woman. That's kind of the point. Him: no I mean who was the dominant and who was submissive? Me: uh neither of us, I guess. Him: well that's why it didn't work, (huge rant about gender roles and how you need to have a dominant aggressor and a submissive softie in every relationship. Lots of arguing back and forth here before I give up) Me: I suppose I'd like a relationship like my parents'. They're not a dominant and a submissive, they're just a team. I think they have a good relationship. Him: well do you have any siblings? Me: yes... Him: brother? Sister? Me: brother... Him: older or younger? Me: older. Him: well, is he like you, or is he normal? Me: ... Did you just say "normal"? Him: sorry, straight. I meant straight. Me: I know you meant straight. Yes. He's straight. Him: oh. (Surprised expression, then he shrugs) Me: ... Well I'm leaving now. Him: see you!! And of course as soon as I was out of sight I start crying like the big angry baby I am, but what the fuck is WRONG with people in this fucking place????
