You looked at your make up supply spread out all over the bed. Your sister was out of town otherwise you would have packed this stuff and showed up at her place, pleading to put make up on her and trying out something new. But sadly it was not meant to be.
The loud sound of the TV jerked you out of your thoughts and you turned around to peek out of the bedroom door to see the back of Dick’s head from where he was sprawled on the couch. A smile tugged at your lips as you slid over to him and sat down on your knees to get to eye level with him.
“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” you fluttered your eyes at him.
His face broke into a grin and he heavily placed his hand on your head, ruffling up your hair. “If you want to know where I hid the cookies from Tim, they’re placed in the top left cupboard in the kitchen.”
“No no,” you swatted his hand away, “You already told me that, you dork. No I was wondering if you could be ever such a sweetheart and let me put some make up on you? Babe please!”
“Make up?” he chuckled. “Why though?”
“Well because my sister is out of town otherwise I’d try it on her. Come on Dick, please lemme do it!” You attempted giving him your best puppy dog eyes.
He looked at you quietly for a few seconds before huffing out a ‘fine’ and getting up from the couch. You happily clapped a little and immediately dragged him to the bedroom where you made him sit down in front of the dressing table.
“Go easy on me, babe,” Dick suggested as you bustled around to gather your make up equipment.
“Don’t worry-“ you whipped out the brushes “-you’re in good hands.”
After some time, you took a step back from Dick and marveled his face. He blinked at you unknowingly, waiting for some sort of reaction from you.
“Oh, my god,” you exclaimed.
“What what?” he started to panic. “Did you ruin my face?”
“No.” You stepped away from the mirror so that he could properly look at his face. “Just the opposite really.”
Dick looked at his reflection in the mirror and did a double take. He did indeed look fabulous. His face so perfectly contoured and the work you had done on his cheeks were to die for. His lips now looked fuller and dear god that jaw. Dick batted his eyes at himself which if possible seemed even more blue.
“You look so pretty. Like even more pretty.” You gazed at your idiot boyfriend as he posed in the mirror.
“How great is that?” He flashed a gigantic grin in the mirror.
“Can you please stop making kissy faces at yourself in the mirror?” You laughed.
“I don’t think I’m every taking this off.”
“Whatever works for you babe,” you sighed patting his head.
