"Bad boys ain't no good, Good boys aint no fun." Mary J. Blige probably summed it up best the thoughts of many dating women. I've heard countless stories of women who have given their all to a man who has treated them worse than a door mat. Yet LOVE keeps them coming back and obsessing over these men long after they have left the picture. I first found out what a bad boy was my senior year of high school. I worked with Lamonica, she was a pretty light skin thing, long hair big butt whatever. She was about a year or two older than me and being that my pimp game wasn't as developed as it is now the thought of her and a younger guy (me) was out the picture. So I ended up becoming friends with her, and listening to all types of stories about the guys she dates. So one day she comes in with a black eye and immediately gets a reaction from all the men at work. She doesn't say much to anyone but confides in me what happened to her. Apparently she had been dating an older guy who hit her after an argument. So automatically I asked her if she is going to continue dating him she tells me yes because she LOVES him. Now their are two parts to this story. About a week or two before this incident their was a guy from her neighborhood who offered to take her out. From her description he was attractive & nice too her in their previous conversations but was a bit on the nerdy side and drove a geo metro. She told me and I quote "He's nice and all but I would never date him, because of that geo metro. I won't be caught dead in that thing." So here we have an attractive girl given the ability to choose and she falls in love with the wrong one. The guy owned a Cadillac, so apparently between that and giving her dick he had what it took to keep her. This went on for sometime, I ended up leaving the job maybe 2, 3 months later and she had yet to leave this guy. Maybe she was dating for appearances, maybe she had some other issues going on I don't know. What I do know is that being "dickmitized" is real and women from all walks of life have became victim to a nice smile, a nice whip, and even better dick. This girl was 18, 19 years old oldest and I feel safe to say that wasn't the first or last time she allowed that to happen to herself. I've met/dealt with several women in college and my adult life who are doing the same routine. Letting their dude drive their car, fuss em out in public, all that shit that apparently women love. Had a girl whose boyfriend I had known since a kid. Cute, college smart girl but when it came to her choice in men, I don't know what happened. I mean here is a girl, clean cut, no tats i never heard her even cuss, from a nice home all that messing with a dude who she knew was playing her. She had the normal symptoms of a girl who was in LOVE. Fussing out other girls on her FB wall one day and kissy lips with her man the next. She knew what was going on but she was in LOVE, so she rolled with it like so many others do. And you can guess it she got pregnant. It's ironic to me. Women now more than ever have so many reasons to be confident their making more money, looking better, getting degrees, starting business...... There is no reason why women should have to put up with these type of men but it always happen. Good girls will never admit to fucking jerks, but the jerks seem pretty busy at fucking good girls so somebody has got to be lying. I know there's gonna be one person that reads this and is like those are extreme cases I'd never let that happen. How many women are dating a guy who only comes over the house but never takes you out, or puts you down in public, or takes you out for "drinks" not a "date"? This one has got to be the classic "I'm not ready to commit" meanwhile he's still getting the ass. Having sex with a dude while he thinks about it I'm sure doesn't help the thought process. It's all different forms of the modern bad boy, jerk, asshole whatever you wanna call him but they all have one thing in common. Dick & Dreams. A lot of women think their winning based off of what the man their dating can do. Every time I hear a girl hype because her guy plays college or professional ball or works for Goldman Sachs I can't help but laugh. Some of ya'll really got the game twisted. The same way your attracted to him because of his looks and what he does, he's attracted to you because of what you look like and how good you feel. It's simple, guys aren't stupid, if you never recognized him inside of the club when he tried to talk to buy you a drink but was right at his window once he hopped in his car he knows exactly the type you are. Especially if it's an ugly motha f*cka. I'm not here to hate if your boy plays ball or has a nice job and a couple more 0's than average in his account and the two of you are in love or moving towards it then I commend you for having something real. But for the rest of you dating a man selling you dick & dreams you really need to take a look at yourself. Your shallow. Women being shallow is the reason why men can go around being assholes, give you dick & dreams and go on to the next victim just like that. I'm convinced that some women actually like being played the fool because that is all they will date. A girl will make a fake twitter, facebook, email account in order to track him and his side piece down. Rather than learn from her initial mistake and leave dude she'll drive herself crazy tryna find out who he was texting while she was in the shower. And then you know what happens? Sometime in the future she develops "trust issues" and is all f'd up and no good for anyone who doesn't know how to fix her. You know who knows how to fix up f'd up girls? Good patient men.... The irony. I'm sorry but you can't blame nobody but yourself for your relationship mistakes. If he cheated on you once and you found out and take him back. He's likely to do it again, if you can't handle the situation without becoming crazy and jeopardizing your own sanity leave him. Give the nice guys a chance. Get to know him before shutting him down because he came off "too polite" or "corny". Don't write him off because he doesn't curse, or isn't aggressive, or because he doesn't own a car. I understand wanting to date someone who is financially secure but at least be sure that your not getting what's left over from him after he's done with Keisha & Tonya. Don't set yourself up for a roller coaster ride because you fell in love with a mans sexuality before you ever got to meet him And that goes for both type of guys. In a perfect world I would wish that every female I know would date someone they can fall in love with on all levels and grow with. By allowing yourself to be "dickmitized" your giving men no reason to change because it's the easiest thing to do. Think about it.
Ladies...have you ever been Dickmotized??
Jill Scott talks being "Dickmotized." Did this woman just create her own term? Is anyone else "Dickmotized"?
