Can't stop looking at @dickondrury #TeaPotHeads & #Rainbows painting, what a great #StudioVisit, thank you. Interestingly Dickon will painting from stories in his mind, often avoiding any focuse on human faces but drawing inspiration from folk tales such as the Moonrakers from Wiltshire, where Dickon is from, or a story read in the paper about a house that set fire when nobody was around to witness it. But at the same time he is conscious of avoiding focusing too much on folk tales and paints framed cabinets of curiosity or vibrant and frantic scenes across a hessian style fabric canvas. #MagicalAmazement #FolkLore #StoryTelling
