Earth was still a scary place. Even after a few years on it, it still scared him. Zax tried to stay out of the way of humans, because they liked to snap pictures of him and sometimes the young ones threw rocks at him.
Zax couldn’t read English well, but he’d seen newspaper articles with very grainy pictures of him and captions questioning him. Was he real or just another internet hoax? And it was quite hard for Zax to hide, as this place was quite condensed with few trees. And he always had to be close to water which this place had so little of.
He was currently in someone’s backward, biting a hose. He had seen water coming out of it before, though he wasn’t sure how it worked. But he was thirsty and determined to find out it’s secrets.
