Pinto Art Museum
Pinto Art Museu has been a wild whisper for some time now. Ever since I've read great reviews and saw other post about this place, Pinto has been part of the must-visit list. The main reason why I planned this simple adventure with Josh is to celebrate our 4th year Anniversary. Yipee! Time flies fast when you are in love. Whenever I recall the first time we met, I get that ticklish feeling inside my tummy. And when you are happy, you must share it. So let me share to you the adventure we had in this breathe taking place.
The museum is surprisingly huge! I didn't expect the size of the place. You will be given a map on how to trace the artworks more timely. One of the best feature of Pinto is the architecture. It reminds me of the houses in Santorini, Greece. The museum is also famous location for pre-nup photoshoot. We saw two couples having there pre nup when we got there. Another thing that I like about this museum is that it feels homey. Some artifacts can be touch and sit on for a more greater experience of the artworks.
Countable artworks are found in the garden area. Yes! Museum can have gardens too. I love that idea of putting environmental elements or changing the environment to add up on how the audience will appreciate the creations. This makes it more exciting to see the other works in this place!
Going around the place made us all hungry. After all, looking at those arts and just imagining how it was created can really make you hungry. We had our dinner at Earth cafe. The cafe is also an extension of the contemporary art of the museum. The food is pricey but it's right for the quality. we hurried eating because there was still a lot of place we need to cover and the night is already starting.
My expectations about the museum were met. I would surely comeback to see place in a more brighter ambiance. From my experience, it would be better to visit the place during morning though the view of the Antipolo city at night from the rooftops is mesmerizing, you will appreciate the artworks given with natural lighting. To sum things up, our simple adventure at Pinto Art Museum was the perfect place to indulge yourself with art, celebrate our anniversary and a quick getaway from the city.
