Oh gosh anon I’m so sorry. There might actually be exceptions to this rule, as there was one girl who was from England and was friends with Elsa. So who knows, definitely ask about it at your interview!Apart from her, every performer I met and worked with was American, and everyone I talked to before starting my program said that Australians and New Zealanders couldn’t be accepted as face characters at WDW. All of the paperwork for my program reflected this view too, in terms of role information. But maybe they’ve changed it in the mean time.I know a lot of Australians and Kiwis who were fur characters and absolutely loved their jobs, though, so either way please don’t give up on your dreams entirely.And I know that Tokyo and Hong Kong Disney have held open auditions in Australia in the past, and that they don’t have a policy against internationals, so you can always try that too! Although I recommend doing the program at World first to get an idea of the parks and entertainment without the language barrier.
