(characters and contexts)
Foundations of my main characters (2024)
These have been constantly updated since 2017. On this blog, I'll upload everything I need for my story: character art, color palettes, voice acting, animations, background information, and much more.
(I'm including this explanation in case someone stumbles across this blog and has no idea what's going on or who all these characters are.)
The story (which is still developing) explores how repressed love can evolve into pure hatred, especially if radical emotions come to guide the future of a nation, and even more so if that nation is a reinterpretation of the 1960s in Latin America and the various US interventions on the continent.
Noah and Alexander are responsible for building or destroying the world, because that's what happens when the political and moral stances and visions of two lovers are much stronger than their desire to be together…
They built a world that crumbled after Alex was tricked into betraying Noah. Thinking Noah would abandon him once he got what he needed—since Alex had promised to show him the most lethal weapon humanity had ever created, G.R.A.C.E. (just steps away from accepting his emotions and confessing everything he felt)—Alex decided to hand him over as a political opponent without realizing it, even though they were working together to overthrow his family's dictatorship (the Petrikovs).
What he didn't consider was that he wouldn't be taken as just another prisoner; he would be "killed" and disappeared by the higher-ups because his ideas were dangerous to impressionable minds.
Alex, not understanding that all of this was his fault, thinks that he really only wanted the information about the weapon and that once he received it, he tried to flee with the "weapon" but was shot down while trying to escape (at least that's the official version). Thanks to the Prime Minister's lies, Alex agrees to join the dictatorship (as a combat hero who eliminated an enemy of the homeland) to make sure he finds out what happened to the weapon.
which is more of a type of cyber-neuronal manifestation
He has access to the largest arsenal of weapons known to humankind, and what Noah did to him serves as a reminder to never let his guard down.
Noah, on the other hand, survives the secret police ambush, but with his arms almost completely severed, his legs broken, and his abdomen pulverized by a cannon lodged in his ribcage, forcing him to try to keep his organs inside.
G.R.A.C.E., witnessing such an act of resistance and human determination, decides to bring him back from the dead and help him with his ideals, which are far nobler than those of his creators.
When my story takes a momentary medieval turn (2020)
At the beginning, my characters went through MANY changes, both in their world and in how they related to each other. They went from being human to creatures, and then back to being human again. But what remained constant were their personalities and unique characteristics, such as:
Alexander being the tallest and having sensitivity issues with his skin.
G.R.A.C.E. has no hair, but what she has is a network of neural pathways arranged to resemble hair.
Noah being the most charismatic, but the worst dancer.
Cher, the best strategist but also the most stubborn person in the world.
Angela and Nora having the most beautiful faces but in completely diferent ways.
Dian being the smallest, if we don't count the fact that G.R.A.C.E. isn't even human, but a machine.
Scene of the 4 main characters sharing (2021)
The story in its beginnings was about a group of friends investigating the disappearance of one of their dearest friends in a very poor neighborhood of a very large city; it was an idea that would show class contrasts and types of love.
Alexander and Cher's Old Bases (2021)
They were young at the beginning of my story, but that was entirely because I didn't know how to draw older people, so keeping them that way made it easier for me to draw them.

Alexander, Noah and Nora sharing (2021)
These are the beginnings that have sustained the Doritempo project from 2017 to today, 2026! It is a love letter to history and art, which are among my favorite things.
