So last year I saw this toothy, nazgul-ish-looking character* on pinterest, and I immediately thought "I so need to copy that”. So I did.

introvert who forces themselves to act like an extrovert bc they don’t want the other introverts to feel the pain of feeling awkward and inadequate and self-loathing the way they did when no one else stepped up to express interest or even kindness in the simplest conversations and left them to choke on their social anxiety. when they talk to a real extrovert they no longer have to play the role for someone else and are forced to go through the pain of actually confronting their own problems and weaknesses again because it is easier and more fulfilling to care for anyone else besides yourself.
