Bullet 10-6-13

I love some people in my life a lot I think I could take a bullet for them Actually, I know I could It wouldn't be so tough Pain for a split second and then I'd be gone But what if I didn't immediately die? What if I suffered Or if instead of a bullet I was tortured Could I?

What if they whipped me And it hurt worse than anything ever had What if I cried out and bled buckets What if they called me worthless And mocked me with a crown made of thorns and said 'You love them? We'll see about that' What if the torture continued And they made me carry a wooden beam Up a hill for miles as I lose strength What if hundreds are watching Me step to the top of the hill And lay the cross down And my murderers nail me to it

My wrists, feet, flesh, and heart is breaking

Could I? Death like that for someone I love? He did.
