Before his first case, Mia made the then non-coffee drinker, Diego, a cup of cheap coffee. He loved it so much that he asked her for a cup before each case, then shortly after almost constantly. After Diego woke up from his coma, and found Mia dead, he decided to work hard to remake Mia's coffee, resulting in his many blends, most of which being failed attempts.
