im so sorry if you’ve already answered a question similar, but do you know if you can get medication for adhd before an official diagnosis (uk)? ive been acutely aware i may have adhd since i was around 11, possibly less, but am only now seeking a diagnosis as it is really messing with work. id like to try medications to help, however im scared it will be too late (ie i’ll be diagnosed after ive finished school, when its too late to fix hoe screwed i am (,:)
There isn’t any way to get medication before a diagnosis, as far as I’m aware.
But I’m currently stuck in that situation myself - they let me retake this year of college because I was supposed to be getting a diagnosis and medication soon, but... nothing seems to be happening. I wish you the best of luck, though!
