The whole mole situation was making Hawk think about things he didn’t usually think about in better circumstances. He didn’t like to think about wars and horrible stuff that happened back when he was a kid but it popped into his head anyways. His kindness was one of his better qualities and it was what brought him to New Rome in the first place. As he entered the movie theater’s lobby, he was stopped by the ticket taker. "Ticket please?” Hawk wrinkled his nose and shrugged. “Don’t got a ticket, man. I’m not even here to see a movie!” Honestly his goal was right there. The man asked for the ticket again and he only responded by staring the man down. With a sigh, he rolled his eyes, stepped to the side, and stepped over the red rope separating him from the rest of the lobby.
Ignoring the guy calling after him, he strolled right up to the concession stand. Side-stepping the line, he went over to the side where it was free. Hawk tapped his hand on the little swinging door to get the attention of the girl working the counter. “Val. Hey Val! You think you can take a break? I just want to talk to you really quick.” A person at the counter cleared his throat, shooting Hawk a glare. “Do you need a cough drop or are you just being rude,” Hawk squinted at the man in line before turning back to the target of his trip to New Rome, making sure to flash her a bright smile.
