The Mamba Family and their snake counterparts. This is always such a fun exercise to do; making and building a characters based on weird funky animals. That’s probably why I love Yuan-ti so much and any other heavily animal based dnd races.

I went a bit feral on HeroForge and made Viktor and Diethre (ft. Jinx Cat)

How are Victor and diethre as parents?

Actually very good and involved parents.

These are their kids, btw; Victoria, Stelios and Diana.

Diethre has always liked the idea of having kids and was delighted when Viktor finally agreeded to the idea of it. He tried to be extremely patient with them and often takes the more guiding role with them as they are half Yuan-ti and retain many Yuan-ti quirks (sleepiness during the winter, basking habits, shedding, venom, etc..) He's the parent who is more than happy to take his kids to events or activities and to spend time with them when they ask. Culturally, Yuan-ti are not often involved in the upbringing of their own children, so Diethre sort of flips the script and likes being involved in their lives. He's very close with Victoria, his first born and eldest daughter, and is most likely where her love for magic comes from, with Warlock magic being a bit more wild than contained Wizard magic.

Viktor is a bit more reserved. He had a very terrible relationship with his father and worries that he might just end up like his cold abrasive cruel father with his own children. He loves his children, but in his own way. He's more of the parent his kids can come to with serious questions and get the straight no bars held answer-he's also where they receive most of their education from as they are homeschooled; mainly due to Victoria's enjoyment of setting fires, Stelios's difficulty with handling people and the fact Diana is still a baby and BITES. He's closest with his son, Stelios, as they enjoy many similar hobbies such as sitting quietly for long periods of time and reading. He's also rather close to Diana, mainly since she has a habit of nipping at people who aren't Viktor or Diethre or her siblings.

This took a while but....The Bread Store, Ft. Jinx Cat and Bean Dip.

Sometimes you gotta break up the fights between two entities of sheer misfortune because they can’t play Bread Store nicely.

(For those of you who are new, the Jinx Cat are a Patron perk for my custom Homebrew Warlock Patron, the Misfortune Warlock. They’re like familiars-except they exist to absorb bad luck and cause trouble. And play bread store with each other.)

National Serpent Day is Feb 1st which means you should love and idolize basically the hottest Yuan-Ti Pureblood (by their beauty standards), Diethre. He deserves it.

WATERDEEP HEIST-GO.

We’re now Playing the Waterdeep heist and since it was on the same day of the finale for Horde of Dragon Queen, most of it was improv and pretty short. But It was AMAZING and could be summarized by the movie ‘The Hangover.’

Riptide broke her arm, Hugh was Diethre for some reason, we forgot Draco back at the inn so now she’s just strapped to Hugh, Diethre woke up in a curtain burrito. Viktor and the THREE FUCKING BABY BLACK DRAGONS we adopted were missing-turns out they got arrested because the babies wrecked a fruit stand and Viktor, probably still tipsy, tried to use suggestion to make it okay and then got into a fist fight with the fruit stall guy. For some reason, Hugh and Viktor had Spagetti in their pockets, Riptide had a drink token and we had some weird business card that we’ll probably look into later.

*Becomes emotional and soft for two magic idiots who are saw each other as kindred entities who have been neglected and affection starved from their entire lives and are now in love and frequently spoil each other with gentle touches of affection that would make any Victorian Period fan grasp at their fan and gasp.*

Ft. the Trition Rogue, Riptide who last session ate the heart of a dragon in front of a bunch of Kobolds and Bard and Hugh Mann who I’m still not sure if he IS a human 100%.
