I love them all, but I'd say Right Hand Man is the most personal to me. It's a hard one to read, but Scars decimated me. I love fake dating, so Bridging the Ravine was fabulous! And anything Freebatch! One more, The Wisteria Tree!
Omg, I’m dying of happiness. :) :) :) So yeah, Scars decimated me to write, too. When I finished chapter 3, I remember just shutting my laptop, putting on my coat and shoes and just walking out of my apartment because I couldn’t even bear to be in the same room as that story. But muses will be muses, so I had to write it. I am but their lowly servant, lol. I love that you like Right Hand Man! And Bridging the Ravine! And The Wisteria Tree! And omg, all the love for my Freebatch stuff! I’m just blown away by that! But you’ve named some of my very faves of my stuff here - thank you!!!
I was so abashed to reblog that post. I figured I would lose followers for it (and I did, unless people REALLY hated that flamingo vid I posted just after it, lol). But I was feeling super bummed because my latest story has gotten such an underwhelming response (the people who have read it seem to like it; it’s just that very, very few people are reading it :/). This answers have really boosted my spirits, and they frankly need all the boosting they can get. I’m in the middle of this difficult af life transition where I don’t know where I’m going, what I should be doing, where I’ll be living, how I’m going to afford to live anywhere that isn’t my parents’ basement (at the age of 38, just for extra shame!), and really doesn’t take much to push me even further into the mud right now, you know?
So - that’s for all of you who have said something, somewhere, done me that solid of telling me your fave (or faves!). It’s immensely cheering and I love you for it! <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333
