The Beautiful Art Of Writing
We live in a fast moving world where millions of ideas zoom across its space every moment, where thousands of ideas become concrete projects, where hundreds of skyscrapers vie with each other in the horizon, where new music albums are released every second. The world is developing towards a brighter future and all this I know because, like any other teenager, I find them all on the little screen that I hold in my hand for an entire day.
That is, Twenty four hours.
Fourteen hundred forty minutes.
Eighty six thousand seconds.
The complexity of the planet we live in is created by millions of active cells that work harder than we can imagine. I personally believe that all those active grey cells safely placed in our brain tirelessly generates unique ideas.
So, in a time span of eighty six thousand seconds, a new idea evolves for the next project in the world and a new plan is put into action.
However, there are still zillions of ideas that never see the light of day, that get buried along with their inventor.
Our developing world is a very busy world and nobody has the time or patience to listen to our thoughts or experiences. All our thoughts get stored within a hidden folder in the back of our mind and it collects dust. That got me thinking.
What happens to my thoughts, new ideas, and experiences?
This is a question I ask myself every now and then.
I sat down one day and thought for a while and then I started writing down my experiences, my ideas. That was the day I remembered the most commonly neglected form of art. The Art of Writing………..
The Art of Creative Writing!
When surfing the worldwide web, you find more gates open to your creativity. These are mediums and platforms where you can express your thoughts through words, learn to be responsible and meet many more of your kind across this large globe.
By competing to find a slot for your ideas to be heard in the physical world where everyone talks at the same time nineteen to the dozen and nobody listens anymore……..you will end up exhausted and demoralized.
This is where the virtual world accepts your ideas and opens them to many like you and you feel a sense of belonging, especially when you see that your thought are read and appreciated.
There are roaring waves everywhere. Be a class apart, and belong to the depths of the deep, deep mind where there is a wonderful silence that inspires and motivates and most importantly allows you to create.
In this otherwise insane world, writing is one art that will keep you sane.
I may not be a best-selling author or a world famous blogger but still, writing gives me the satisfaction that a patisserie feels after baking a successful cake. The Writing world is a world where you are not judged for your creativity. You grow like a child and get better at it. It’s a world where you are the master of your writing and you direct your work and the characters in it without using too many resources. All that is required is a little time to write down your thoughts and ideas and allow your senses to let loose your imagination.
Playing with alphabets is a child’s game. It is time we played with words to let out our thoughts in a powerfully subtle manner.
And, well, I haven’t yet found a form of Art that lets you enjoy your favourite cup of coffee while you are at it.
