So someone I know and respect posted a LIVE talking about "#Halloween is of the devil" & "It's about worshipping Satan" & "It's dark sided, demonic energy". Blah, blag, blah. I am debating with myself if I should try to enlighten them by sharing a different point of view or just let them be WRONG & STRONG? As I get older, I feel less and less of the need to "prove a point" or react defensively when encountering disagreeable opinions or people. I'm at the point where I recognize the precious value of my time and energy because tomorrow is not promised. Is this person open minded/mature enough to have that conversation? Are they in their feelings and gonna be defensive if I approach them with different information? Will this convo be productive? I feel like God gives everyone free will to learn and navigate their journey on this Earth. Some people learn quickly while others will take lifetimes learning one lesson. And sometimes we'll cross paths to teach and learn from one another. Now I'm just trying to figure out if this is a teaching moment or a learning moment for me? Teach this person another viewpoint or learn how to not unproductively sacrificing my time and energy aka stop being Capt. Save-A-Ho. LOL All this said with love and no judgment. #mindbodyspirit #BoxingWithGod #DifferenceOfOpinion #AgreeToDisagree #AintGoingBackAndForthWithYou #LivingMyBestLife #AllLove #NoJudgment (at South Plainfield, New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4TlRIVns1x/?igshid=1oaruxq19040l
