The sky was starting to take notice in how they lingered in their time between night and day, how they pushed at the edges. They were lucky the stars had yet to realize this.

“But we do still have time,” the sun was getting low, his light fading as the evening gave way to the night. “I’ll take any time at all over nothing but glimpses from far away.” Bakugou saw Kirishima’s sad smile as his light slipped away completely.

“…no amount of time will ever be enough, Kirishima.”
