I cut the decals to the desired size, dipped my decals in luke warm water and they slid off the paper backing like butter. I applied them directly onto dry polish. Then I applied a QDTC. If you have any over hang, it is easily removed with a clean up brush dipped in acetone. Today in #ocdnails -- I Dare You by @differentdimensionus. I won't lie -- I wasn't initially impressed... then I tried to rub a perceived imperfection off of a nail. The colour then sharpished lightened up in ways that clarified how a #trithermal does its business.
