For my unit 7, I am making a Youtube video, about how to set up an acoustic guitar, with two different ways to attach 4 microphones to a mic stand. With this, I will explain the 4 different microphones, SE2000, SE X1, AKG C414 and an SM57. With this 4 different microphones, I can explain the different attachments, the polar patterns and the best angle to record these at. Once I have explained all of that, I will show a screen recording of how to set up a Logic Pro X session and all how to set it up correctly, with showing shortcuts. I will show recording of all different microphones to show the different outcome of the sound to compare which microphone would be the best at recording and why. Personally i think the SE X1 is the best microphone at recording because i recorded an acoustic guitar for my last assignment and i found that the outcome, comes out better than i thought, due to the microphone being hand-crafted and hand-tuned by skilled technicians in their own factory. Whether you’re recording lead vocals, acoustic guitar, strings, percussion or any other source instruments, I believe the sE X1 outperforms every mic in its price class.
