Also can't stop thinking about your idea of caregiver Sol taking the mutineers back to join the main group to get help...... like he was about to get straight up executed by those people so for all he knows they'll just finish the job as soon as he goes back but he is going to do what's best for these kids damn it. Plus he trusts the Captain won't have any interest in punishing hickey in his current state. Once he's not little anymore is another story but they'll cross that bridge if they survive long enough, right now Sol's main problem is that Harry Goodsir just will not stop crying. Everyone be QUIET he is turning this car (mutiny) around!

Diggle as a cg just so good with littles & especially any that are more shy. Does amazing cookie set ups decorating & baking kind of stations for littles. Do see a bond with magnus, hartnell...francis!!

She's just real nuturing to the lads! Think magnus could just sit by her, maybe help cook. She knows when hes feeling small & is just good at picking up those cues...

Maybe just helps with whoever she ends up finding,, like hiding out somewhere in the ship.

Think everyone enjoys a cuddle from her,, & goodsir just drawn to diggle in the mutineer camp, so some comfort there

Another universal CG to me, much like McDonald. The little ones love her <3

She's always making sure the littles are eating enough (as well as their CGs! They don't get to skip meals just because they're "big"!).

If someone seems like they're having a bad day she'll pat them on the back and ask if they're okay really softly and if they aren't then that's fine, they can just sit and cuddle for a while 🥹

Apart from Magnus and Harry, I think she's also be close with Tom Jop and also the ships boys :3c (and Frankie, for my self indulgent reasons)

Goodsir regression in the mutineer camp? Maybe he hit that headspace just from exhaustion..kind of picturing thats what happened when hodge came into his tent..maybe diggle or someone tries to care for him briefly

Wait wait wait I'm so intrigued by this dynamic. (And also the potential to make it like 200% more sad but let's not think about that-)

Goodsir and Diggle probably haven't interracted much before. I mean. They're on different ships most of the time. And they both got dragged along into the mutiny camp mess when neither wants to be there, so maybe they bond over that.

And maybe Diggle wakes up during the night and sees or hears Harry walking around and goes to check on him.

Has no idea what's going on at first but he catches on and helps Harry back to his tent. Sits down with him. Holds his hand maybe and softly talks to him until Harry falls asleep...
