Great currently tv shows from my homecountry.
The first broadcast drama with a Black Canadian female lead EVER will premiere on March 6 at 8:00 PM (EST) on CBC and I am so excited !!!
Diggstown is a legal aid drama set in Halifax (with more than one Black character !) centring a Black female lawyer from North Preston, played by Vinessa Antoine, working with in a legal team, which includes an openly lebsian and an Indigenous lawyers (oh boy ! just by looking at the trailer; it looks good as hell!), that has to defend a diverse range of clients. The series was created and produced by two Black Canadians: Floyd Kane and Amos Adetuyi.
