you probably get this all the time, but what program + brushes are you using?? I've been looking for something with a brush that behaves like a irl pencil for a long time and your most recent art is scratching that itch in my brain

Hey no worries, and you’re the first to ask actually :D I recently found an app called concepts, which is available for free on both the iPad and PC. You can pay for extra features, but the free version is sufficient enough for moi and the tools provided are great. The only feature it’s missing in the free version is scaling/movement tool but you’ll get used to not having/using it (if you’re stingy like me and refuse to pay).

What platforms do you use for animation/art 😊

hiiiii, man I should really check my inbox more often, not sure how long this has been sitting in there lolol

But to answer your question, for years now, I had been using Flipaclip for animation and Medibang Paint for regular art on this little android Samsung tablet I've had since my 15th bday.

I recently however I recently upgraded my tablet for a very powerful laptop and professional drawing tablet. I got Clip studio and a bunch of animation/storyboarding programs (toon boom harmony, storyboard pro, opentoons) so from now on I'll be using those once I figure out how to use them (and get comfortable using a stylus again since I've been doing digital art with my fingers for years now lol)

I don't know if this will be of any use to any artists out there, but Humble Bundle currently have a bundle that includes Corel Draw Essentials 2021, Painter Essentials 8, Pinacle Studio 25 Ultimate, and some brushes.

The offer is only on for a few more days, but it looks like there's a lot of stuff in there that might be useful.
