Inspo: that one scene where Crowley is lying on the floor, depressed, and Endymion (1872) by George Frederic Watts

The painting depicts Endymion, the beautiful young shepherd from Greek mythology who was granted eternal sleep by Jupiter at the request of Diana, the Moon goddess who loved him. Diana is rendered as an ethereal, barely corporeal figure, “luminously visible,” as Watts himself described her. The entire scene is conceived as a circular composition, the two figures forming a closed, dreamlike cycle.

Watts, a major figure of British Symbolism, saw this subject as an allegory of dream, desire, and the unreachable. He reworked the painting several times throughout his life, trying to make Diana “more mystical, more visionary.”

Your HexToken comics are perfection 💖 I pray everyday that Jayce and Viktor/Herald can all get some closure and get back to kissing. These boys need therapy and smooches.

Right now Jayce just really wants to help :/

Not sure if it's "perfection" because a lot of people appear to be confused or to be expecting something different. I'm trying to make every page compelling on his own even without the usual romantic scenes but rest assured they will be all over each other again in no time even if that's not the final aim

Same annon from before, just to clarify: Hex is the production company behind HexToken?

Hex is a cosmic machine Herald from another universe (not Arcane) and the equivalent of Sleep in the lore of Sleep Token

He reaches for Viktor sometimes because he wants something from him and Herald is a product of their meetings ;)

I love your art and the Hextoken comic. But I ,honestly feel stupid, don't understand the context of the past comics anymore... would you care to explain what exactly is happening? Jayce wants something from Viktor, but Viktor doesn't want anything from Jayce, but Herald does?

Uh Viktor doesn't want to get involved with Jayce anymore because Jayce got really serious about them out of nowhere and Viktor distanced himself from him. Viktor has a deal with Hex that basically doesn't allow him to get a personal life (more about this in the next chapters) and Jayce might represent a risk. So yeah Viktor is afraid of Jayce somehow...

Herald is still pretty interested in Jayce tho. He doesn't mind Jayce being intense or clingy. He finds him very entertaining and not dangerous at all. Herald has a huge libido and mostly lives in the moment with anyone receptive enough. He's aware of the special bond he shares with Jayce tho and he'd like to nurture it but Jayce does not allow him to do that anymore :(

Jayce is still very attracted to Herald but he wants to focus on his work at the moment and he's currently refusing any distraction. He expects to prove himself worthy of the intention he desires (he's not just a pretty face) He has mixed feelings for Viktor rn bc he doesn't take rejection well at all. Jayce is still mad at Viktor for ditching him and for giving him the cold shoulder ever since he joined the band. He's also aware that Viktor is the real deal and thinks Herald's kinda just a front so Jayce is a bit frustraded atm (he wants it all haha)
