Something that I never seen mentioned is how much of a barrier two factor authentication is for people with limited tech access. People regularly come into the library to access their email. Often it's because their phone isn't working. The phone is turned off / stolen / broken / whatever.
I want to help people, but unfortunately I do not control Google it's way more often than I'd like I have to send them away without their needs being met.
