Digital Nativity
A digital native is defined by almighty Wikipedia as "A person who was born during or after the general introduction of digital technologies and through interacting with digital technology from an early age, has a greater understanding of its concepts." Essentially anyone younger than about 30 has a near intuitive understanding of technology because they grew up with it. In other words, preschoolers playing angry birds on their mom's iPad are tech gods in the making. This sound a bit ridiculous to anyone else? Given, I can kind of see the truth in it. I can do stuff on computers and the internet without thinking about how that I have to sit with my parents and walk them through multiple times for them to understand. Then again, the head of the tech department at my mom's old job was in his sixties and it seemed to come as naturally to him as anyone.
