i tvtropes-ified my SGE site digital party outfits
Animal-Eared Headband: Wore cat ears at a few parties, and bunny ears to the Easter party.
Age-Inappropriate Dress: Every now and then, Katrin/Lilac/whatever she’s called now will wear something that shows a little too much skin for someone aged 13-14. The Easter party is a standout example, with her in a miniskirt that looks more like a low-rise belt, and a Stripperific lace crop top with a low neckline and spaghetti straps.
Any outfit of hers that combines fishnets with Dangerously Short Skirt can also qualify.
A few lines from Cupcake imply that the cat has attempted to get her owner to cover up before when the latter wears overly revealing clothing for her age or the weather. It’s never stated whether or not she has ever succeeded at doing so.
Bare Your Midriff: Her second most common outfit choice after a minidress is a crop top and a skirt.
Beauty Is Never Tarnished: This girl can party hard for DAYS on end without getting her hair or makeup messed up, her accessories misplaced or falling off, or her clothing torn or stained.
Somewhat justified, as it’s shown at the Snow Ball that she knows how to use spells to prevent her clothing from getting messed up, and presumably does this all the time. Not that these spells can’t wear off, however, as is demonstrated when she wakes up after days of partying with missing shoes, messed-up hair and makeup, a ripped skirt, mystery stains, and a mustache drawn on her face.
Cape Swish: has worn fashion capes to parties on a few occasions. Expect her to do this.
Cool Crown: You can count on one hand the amount of parties where she hasn’t worn a glitzy tiara or circlet, or more rarely a flower crown. Her cat also wears these every now and then.
Cosplay: Once cosplayed as Cure March for a party.
Costume Evolution: As time goes by, she began incorporating things such as gems, fishnets, body jewels, feathers, reversible sequins instead of regular ones, small sparkly gems, flowers, etc. sprinkled in her hair, and even capes into her outfits. During Crystal Week and after, she’s also shown to have pierced her ears, grown her hair even longer, and started wearing high heels.
Costume Porn: Pick a party, any party. While Costume Porn is a staple of the SGE site in general, these ensembles are extravagant enough to always, ALWAYS require a “read more”.
Dangerously Short Skirt: The majority of her dresses and skirts are this.
Early Installment Weirdness: At the first party she attended, not only was she not wearing things such as hair glitter, fishnets, face jewels, or rhinestones that are incorporated constantly these days, but her tiara was DIY’d out of tinfoil and pipe cleaners, instead of the bright gems and crystals she wears on her tiaras now.
Everything’s Better With Sparkles: Exaggerated to a level that would make Tamatoa cry with envy. No matter what the event, she’s ALWAYS wearing at least 3 or 4 major outfit components covered in glitter and hundreds of sequins, gems, and/or rhinestones. This is disregarding tiaras, the glitter she puts in her hair, and sparkly nail polish (with gems!). And that’s not even getting into the fact that all her makeup is glittery and she covers herself in so much body glitter, highlighter, and stick-on body jewels that she looks more like a living disco ball than anything else.
Taken Up To Eleven in that, at some parties, she’s shown to be able to weaponize it by posing at an angle that reflects enough light to blind rivals and cause permanent eye damage. There’s been times when other guests have had to wear eclipse glasses so as to not be permanently blinded by her sparkle.
Everything’s Sparkly With Jewelry: tiaras aside, we’ve got necklaces (choker and regular), bracelets, palm cuffs, arm cuffs, and more recently, earrings. You can count on them being sparkly as hell.
Exposed To The Elements: At one Christmas party, she quickly learned the drawbacks of wearing a sleeveless mini-dress intended for summer to a party that takes place outdoors in the snow.
The Fashionista: Is notorious for this, more so than any other site user. Spends weeks planning her outfits, sometimes more so.
Fingerless Gloves: Has worn these several times. Often, they’re either sparkly, made of lace, or something similar.
Fluffy Fashion Feathers: Every now and then, especially around Sophie Appreciation Day.
Gem-Encrusted: Her jewelry and accessories often incorporate this, and sometimes also her shoes or her dress itself. At formal parties in particular, her dress literally ALWAYS has tons of jewels sewn into it.
She also uses stick-on jewels to make her skin look gem-encrusted. Whether this is extremely glamorous or looks like Body Horror is up to you.
Happy Holidays Dress: Every Christmas party outfit she’s ever worn has been this.
High Class Gloves: Wore these to a couple fancy parties.
Impossibly Cool Clothes: How does she dance for hours without sweating off all that body glitter or having her tiara fall off? How does she eat candy and drink soda without smudging her lipstick?
It’s Fake Fur, It’s Fine: A few of her outfits, particularly the Christmas party garb, have incorporated faux fur.
Lady In Red: Several of her outfits have invoked this.
Magic Skirt: Half the time, especially when paired with fishnet tights or something similar.
Modesty Shorts: The other half of the time, while it’s never mentioned in the outfit descriptions, the fact that she has no problem dancing herself into exhaustion, climbing the decorations, doing crazy tricks, and charging around like crazy on sugar buzz, while wearing a Dangerously Short Skirt, implies that she wears these as often as possible when not wearing fishnet tights or a leotard.
Confirmed in a Tumblr post that tvtropes-ified her party outfits. She does indeed wear short shorts under her skirts at parties to avoid accidentally flashing her underwear. And sometimes these shorts are sparkly.
Nice Shoes: Often with crystals, glitter, ribbons, or lace. Almost always flats, more rarely sandals or block kitten heels.
Peacock Girl: Has worn feathered showgirl skirts when she REALLY wants to glam it up.
Pimped-Out Dress: At formal parties especially, but sometimes at regular rager parties. When she’s not wearing this, she’s either wearing a crop top and a skirt, or she’s wearing a sequinned dress and extravagant accessories.
Playboy Bunny: Was compared to this at the Easter party. Cupcake states she tried to get her to wear something less revealing, and didn’t manage to.
Sexy Backless Outfit: Quite a few of her outfits are this.
Showgirl Skirt: Has worn these more than once.
Stocking Filler: Wears fishnets very often at parties, especially with very short skirts.
Unlimited Wardrobe: A staple of the SGE site. Scenes in her headquarters show that the walk-in closet is one of the biggest rooms there, and is easy to get lost in.
Wakeup Makeup: has passed out from exhaustion or sugar high at several parties, yet her makeup is almost never tarnished. Once she spent ten hours in a sugar coma and woke up with her makeup mostly intact. See Beauty Is Never Tarnished above.
