Is RAP the New Tonic for Digital Marketing?
Not long back, Digital Marketers use to go gaga over infographics. Remember podcasts? Well, Digital Marketing is a strange world. What is hot today can become old-school within a blink of an eye. Marketers of today needs to constantly remain updated. In fact, adaptability has become one of the biggest traits of any Digital Marketer. This brings us back to the topic – many of you are already wondering how a rap can be used in Digital Marketing and some of you are already thinking it to be a bogus idea. Well, let me tell you, even I belonged to the later half, but an Indian agency called UrsDigitally has opened everyone's eyes. Yes, they have used hip-hop beats and rap lyrics to promote themselves. Cool or not? You decide. But certainly you cannot ignore these people. We feel proud when India became the first Asian Nation to reach the Mars orbit. We also became proud when India became the first cricketing host to win the cricket world cup. It always feels good to become first. And the good news is that becoming first is becoming India's habit. And a huge credit goes to the less-hyped creative minds of the nation. Very few people know that UrsDigitally (an Indian Digital Marketing agency) became the first agency to create an Ultimate Digital Marketing rap using their own office resource and set-up for brand promotion. Kudos! The results were very pleasing to the eye! The 1:54s video is the perfect example of what creativity can do over a short span of time. This video was a perfect blend of trendy sentences and marketing elements. It certainly reminds me of the Iceland football team. Iceland earned applauds from football pundits all over the world due to their impressive displays at the FIFA WORLD CUP. However, what separated them from the rest are their players. Football was not their profession. Their goalkeeper was a filmmaker, the coach was a dentist, and the list continues. This is pretty much the same deal with the rap video that I'm talking about. The actors in the video are regular office-goers. And the master blend of flamboyance and innocence were choreographed beautifully. You won't believe the fact that the entire rap was sung by a graphic designer! Check out all the behind the scenes footage right here! This is something which makes the rap video extra special.
The video has already ignited a significant number of views on Facebook.
I believe you should definitely have a look.
