Only yesterday did I realize that the digital root of 13 is 4. Like, two unlucky numbers connected by the digital root.
The theme “Digital Root” from 999 (9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors), first game in the Zero Escape Series, remade by me!
I hope you enjoy! I love this theme!
This week's Tune for Tuesday is "Digital Root" from 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. Said song is from a franchise I've been having a fair bit of fun with recently, and am very much looking forward to seeing the third installment for later this year. On top of that, the song title is after a concept that the game introduced me to that I ended up falling in love with. Enjoy!

Just finished playing 999.... one of the endings anyway. The third one. T.T it was kinda sad and depressing and I don't wanna get another bad one.

Congratulations! You just woke up as a participant in a new Nonary Game.

How do you react to your predicament?
What do you think will happen to you?

Something to do with the number 8? Uhm... let's see... I'm afraid I can't come with alot of clever names referring to religion, elements and such, since none of them are really in my field of interest. I'd probably be a bit like Clover and try to find a clever nickname from something that has to do with me.
Virgo (♍) is the sixth astrological sign in the Zodiac, which spans the zodiac between the 150th and 179th degree of celestial longitude.
1 + 7 + 9 = 8.
Thus I'd probably go with Virgo as my nickname. Other possible names could include Cure (Ever[17]), Octa ([Latin prefix for Eight]) and Infinity (the symbol looks like [a horizontal 8].) The latter could later be shortened to Finny or something like that. Y'know, like the superstrong gardener in Kuroshitsuji? XD
How I'd react? I would probably scared as all Hell for the first hour and a half and just go with what everyone else said. Until I confirmed that noone aside from the 9th Man was a nutter, I'd probably stay on my toes. After that I think I'd be one of those dumb people who lets their guard down a little too much. I'm a very trusting person by nature.
Tsk, unless it's the True End, I can only see two options for me.
One is that I get killed. As I said, I'm a very trusting person and on top of that have a bit of Aspergers. Ace's friendly smile would've probably fooled me as well, and since I'm the one with the number 8 bracelet, then I am at a higher risk than the others of getting knifed.
The other option is that I lose it. Completely. I have never been good with timelimits, and that's just in normal video games. Having one that will result in my death if I exceed it would probably cause my stress-levels to soar until I reach that point where I'll crack. I don't know if I'd be homocidal-mad or just plain laughing-mad, but losing my sanity as the timelimit approaches is another way it could end for me... especially if people start rushing me along or tells me to hurry up. I hate when people do that. It's one of my berserk buttons.
....
....
.... Wait a minute.
If I'm number 8, that means I'll be the one held hostage by Ace. Oh bugger. That would be pretty ironic, considering that I liked to be the hostage in my pretend games as a kid. -.-
This game, oh my god. Oh my god.
