Hehehhehe, you are right, anon! I can go and say that Lynxes are my favourite because they are so Big and Floof and they’re still cats but Wild and with Big Fluffy Paws but you are still right, cats are my favourite animal!

As for the halloween costume, we don’t really celebrate that here. I did, however, dress up for my last day of high school when I was 18. It’s a thing everyone did, so it was a lot of fun to see everyone in wacky costumes! I was dressed as an Assassin’s Creed assassin, heavily inspired by Ezio’s costume. 

I have some more pictures where I like.. assassinate people and do that whole thing of “blending in with the crowd” sitting on a bench. I also remember doing the weird crouch walk dance :P

This is a demo/ introduction to my audio project, ‘Who is listening-listening to ourselves‘ which I started in May 2023. The project is working from a collection of voice memos I have been sent over the last 2 years, (and then given permission to use publicly), combined with found sound, music and atmospheric noise to create a collection of audio pieces that explore and question the boundaries of public/private, voyeurism, ownership and our disembodied (digital) selves.  What does it mean for our sense of self, our identity and for others sense of us, when we can be omnipresent? When we are disembodied? When we hear our voice, our words back to us, and out of context? I am interested in exploring and unpicking these questions through new methods within my creative practice, and sharing these little snap shots of everyday life, intimacy and friendship with wider audiences.

Over the next 3 years I will be developing this project to create both longer, and more narrated works, including works with multiple voices. 

You can currently hear two versions of the project with the same audio-memo construction given different musical treatment: ‘Solace version‘, and ‘Get up version.‘
