Do you have any thoughts on iPad Pros versus regular for regular SM use? My production manager and APM swear by the new pros but I wanted a second opinion
I think if I was going to go tablet-only, it’d for sure be Pro or bust. I was recently without a laptop and, had I not been provided a work laptop by my new job, I would have definitely upgraded to the Pro. That being said: I got along just fine with ONLY my iPad air 2 for about 3 large-scale musicals.
StageWrite live stream!
With 2 productions starting rehearsal in March, that’s 2 StageWrite files to put together. StageWrite and going digital as an SM is something a lot of people are curious about/looking into, and with this being one of the MOST helpful going-digital-apps that I’ve come across, why not share?
THIS IS BY NO MEANS A TUTORIAL (I mean, maybe in the loooooooossest sense of the word. A no-vowels version. a ttrl). It’s just me clicking around in StageWrite and setting up a show file and live-streaming it to the internet and being mildly intoxicated and talking to myself out loud in the hopes of converting more SMs to digital life.
