Line art of my angel illustration. While I’m working on this I’m realizing something. When I started learning how to draw digitaly, I was putting out art on the Internet (mostly on deviantart) because I was showcasing what I was learning and creating. I didn’t feel the pressure to create something, or to make sure that I had a new piece of I work to post every week. I was trying because I genuinely wanted to and because I really was enjoying myself. I think in the last few years I’ve been making art with posting something new or updating my portfolio/job hunting as a priority, and creating because I want to was on the back burner. I wanna get back to that place I was when I was in high school or college; before social media was a thing and before there was pressure on artist to post flawless artwork on a schedule. I want to experiment with style and technique, and I’m starting with this piece.
