Crypto Payment now possible at largest US movie theater chain

Adam Aron, the CEO of AMC Theatres, recently announced that the movie theater chain would now be accepting payments in cryptocurrencies. AMC Theatres is the largest such chain in the US, with over 593 American theaters and 335 international locations. Reports back in August had indicated that such a development was on its way, so Aron’s statement came as more of a confirmation than an out-of-the-blue shock. AMC tickets and concessions can now be purchased with Bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoin cash, and Litecoin, with other digital currencies also on the way.
