matt sews, so the purple velvet dress was one of those moments where we stopped to check how the fabric was behaving in real time for a campaign. THIS WAS NOT MY DRESS, it was just borrowing my rollsies for a bit. even a small adjustment at the waist or back changes how the whole dress drapes. i was checking the mirror while he smoothed the fabric so the shape would fall right. i also brought back his tigers eye droplet all fixed up! it was strung with onyx and imperial jasper. my flame emoji necklace was mookaite from australia. those sunrise colors still haunt my dreams and my b'fast.
my hair that day was a deep crimson shade. rich reds like that take lots of time because you need a long full pigment coverage. it pairs perfectly with darker fabrics like velvet and adds to the overall dramatic feel of the look. however, it would prob be considered too clashy for conventional matchy bitches. ymmv. XD
