We live in a world, full of new technologies, new means of transportation, new materials, and full of luxuries. We take what we have around us for-granted, the ecosystem slowly under great stressors caused by us, slowly and surely we’re killing our own ecosystem off by affecting climate change and global warming, with impacts such as deforestation, pollution, famine,irrigation, loss of agricultural land by degradation and abandonment (erosion), environmental impacts associated with meat production include use of fossil energy, water and land resources, greenhouse gas emissions, and in some instances, rain-forest clearing, water pollution and species endangerment, among other adverse effects. We are killing off something that in effect keeps us alive. The ecosystem that is able to feed us all and create sustainable habitats for millions of specials.  We are in effect, OUR OWN WORST ENEMIES.  *Ian Somerhalder is an inspiration of mine, and has been for some time now. He was involved in the cleanup after the Deepwater Horizon oil drilling disaster on April 22, 2010. His efforts included cleaning of oiled wildlife and taping public service announcements to let the public know how they could help. He also supports the St. Tammany Humane Society, an organisation for animal shelter and welfare. On November 13, 2010, he hosted a Bash on the Bayou charity fundraiser for the Society. He’s also set up "Ian Somerhalder Foundation" (launched on December 8, 2010, Somerhalder's 32nd birthday), which he hopes will educate people on the importance of protecting the environment and animals: "Instead of gifts this year, my birthday wish is that we come together and raise funds to support projects that protect our habitat and nurture our furry friends. *

Double Exposure, or Multiple Exposure, is a photographic technique that combines 2 different images into a single image.The technique has been practiced for several years, and it became particularly famous recently, due to the fact that graphic editor like Photoshop can help to create the identical effect.

With double exposure technique, you can create certain effect like ghost image, mirror image, or simply merging a bright moon into the dark, lonely sky. The reason of using this technique varies, but they are surely created for same purposes – beauty and uniqueness.

Throughout history artists have always created drawings and paintings of animals.

Stone Age men decorated their caves with the images of the animals that they hunted for food.

The Ancient Egyptian artists depicted many of their gods with the heads of animals.

Examples of tribal art from every continent combine animal and human features to symbolise man's bond with his natural environment.

In the Middle Ages, artists used mythical beasts to decorate medieval manuscripts while commonplace creatures often took on secret symbolic associations.

In the 17th century art, hunting scenes illustrating dramatic life and death struggles between man and beast, became a popular subject.

18th century artists chose to celebrate the natural beauty and majestic power of animals in their natural habitats.

In the 19th century, Victorian artists painted sentimental pictures of their domestic pets and livestock.

The artists of the 20th century explored the entire range of animal genres and invented a few more of their own.

Andreas Lie (artist) [1]

Andreas Lie, a visual artist based in Bergen Norway, has found a beautiful way to blur the boundary between the beautiful Norwegian wilderness surrounding him and the wild animals that call it home. His photos, done in his signature double-exposure style, create a subtle gradient that turns these wild beasts’ feathers and fur into images of their habitats.

It’s easy to imagine that the city of Bergen, where he lives, has had an influence on his art – this coastal Norwegian city, nestled among the fjords of the Hordaland district, is surrounded by 7 forested mountains that both locals and visitors love to hike.
