Rainbow Islands: Putty’s Party is often referred to as a port of Taito’s classic arcade game from 1987, but after spending a good amount of time with it over the last couple of weeks, I think it would be far more accurate to call it a “re-imagining” of Bubble Bobble’s sequel.
