Digit is being

SUCH A BUTT

refuses to eat anything that’s not wriggling or what I don’t put directly in front of her nose. I’ve tried all her favourite foods and even new stuff, but she won’t touch it. I don’t know what to do ;v;

Oh - also after I put up the sign on her tank and people stopped feeding her snacks, she very quickly stopped making a mess of her tank, like I knew she would.

So far the sign has been working! So I haven’t had to get a lock, thankfully. 

Just a little bit of inconspicuous shaming can sometimes do the trick that asking them politely does not XD

just a update Digit’s doing fantastic!! Eating, pooping and sleeping like a champ. I just haven’t had much time for pictures, plus the weather has been nuts here so I haven’t been able to take her out much either. Mosquitoes + extreme humidity would not make a happy lizard nor owner

i’ll see about getting a pic of her sometime soon just for the blog >w<

Hmm...

I've been letting Digit sleep for most of the winter months, cause she's been sleeping well. I decided to finally get her out to check on her, give her a small soak. That went well, she even drank a fair amount of water I dribbled on her nose, something she doesnt often do so I know she was thirsty.

But once out of the bath, she made a small hissing noise, very short with opening her mouth. I honestly assumed it was like a burp, but she did it a couple more times, two accompanied by a saliva bubble.

She wasn't black bearded or skittish, two signs she's usually unhappy or spooked. (She did hiss at the mirror for the first time ever when she spotted herself in it) and I already have her back in her tank under the heat lamp to heat her up.

Gonna keep a close eye on her. Hopefully she didn't get water in her nose or something, I was very careful. She was her usual alert self when she woke up fully, and was trying to run around the bathroom while I was drying her off (as she always does, I imagine her like a little barenaked kid running around after a bath)
