Με πρόσφατη απόφασή του το Ανώτατο Δικαστήριο της Βρετανικής Κολούμπια, στον Καναδά, κήρυξε άκυρο τον γάμο ενός ζευγαριού, εξαιτίας της ανικανότητας του ανδρός να «ολοκληρώσει τη γαμήλια ένωση» με το έτερόν του ήμισυ. Το ζεύγος δεν ευτύχησε ποτέ να έχει την εμπειρία μιας κανονικής συνουσίας, το «εις σάρκαν μίαν» έμεινε γράμμα κενό κ.ο.κ. Ο σύζυγος ουδέποτε βρέθηκε σε κατάσταση πλήρους στύσεως και άρα δεν εξετέλεσε, ούτε καν στοιχειωδώς, τα βασικά του καθήκοντα. Το ζεύγος προσπαθούσε, τουλάχιστον μία φορά το μήνα και επί έναν χρόνο περίπου, αρχής γενομένης από την πρώτη νύχτα του γάμου, τον Αύγουστο του 2018. Αυτά κατατέθηκαν στη διάρκεια της εκδίκασης, δυστυχώς όμως όλες οι απόπειρες διείσδυσης απέβησαν άκαρπες. Η σύζυγος, απογοητευμένη σφόδρα, κατήγγειλε τη γαμήλια σύμβαση με τον άντρα της, καταλογίζοντάς του ανικανότητα και επεδίωξε την ακύρωση του γάμου. Εκείνος όμως αντεπιτέθηκε και υπερασπίστηκε τον ανδρισμό του με το εξής αδιάσειστο επιχείρημα: «Δεν ήμουν εγώ ανίκανος. Εσύ δεν μπορούσες να με ερεθίσεις τόσο όσο χρειαζόταν για να κάνουμε σεξ. Με άλλες γυναίκες δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα στύσης. Το αντίθετο μάλιστα». Παρόλ’ αυτά, όπως αναγράφεται στο τελικό κείμενο της δικαστικής απόφασης, «ο άνδρας δεν ενίσταται και δεν αμφισβητεί το γεγονός ότι δεν υπήρξε ούτε μία φορά στη διάρκεια του εγγάμου του βίου κατά την οποίαν να είχε ικανοποιητική στύση και να επιτύχει τη διείσδυση». The crow smiled, stroking his god’s hair, while he had laid in his lap. It was amusing, how he sometimes acted like a child. It was peaceful, and relaxing. The other had started a story of the first war, while the crow had listened, albeit in fear. Mel wonders himself, how he still manages to stay with Eris, while they are two complete opposites. But he shrugged it off. Mel was happy with Eris, and it seemed Eris was happy with Mel.
“Yes, yes. A fantastic story. Now please get up, oh god of strife and discord. I need to make dinner.” He giggled as the god had complained, but kissed the top of his head. “A kiss to make you stop complaining. Now please move yourself to the dining table!”

Despite his lazy tendencies, Hypnos cared for his family more than anything else. His home was right next to his brother Thanatos’ in the Underworld. His mother and father weren’t around as much, due to their duties around the realms, but they still kept in contact and never really left one another’s mind. The sad part about all of this, though, was that they were the only concerns on his mind when he was struck down. Before he was murdered in his home by pillaging Olympians, he was more concerned about how his family was faring. If they were going to be okay. And overall, the fact that he never got the opportunity to say goodbye.

Mel cautiously followed the suspicious people. He was being lead into a dark alley... this wasn’t good! Something was off, he knew...!! But he couldn’t leave, and no way would he hurt anyone to do so! Even if he did try to teleport, he didn’t know the area well enough, and those leading him would quickly notice something was strange about him! He could only bite his nails, as he tripped. He should’ve paid attention! Mel quickly got up, apologizing quickly, and continued walking. It wouldn’t hurt to heal himself a little bit, just out of sight...!! But oh how he wished to be home. The alley had gotten narrower, and darker, and he couldn’t go back. It was scary, and he swore he could’ve saw a spider. Someone, please save him...!!

her eyes SPARKLE, and as if on cue, she materialises her harp. slowly, her fingers brush against the strings, in an attempt to keep up with the unfamiliar song he sung. it was soothing, a gentle tune that lulls her into relaxation. she almost feels bad for wanting to play along, as she believes that her joining in only ruins the song, the way it swayed gently in the breeze.
