lmao like in high school there is like the pledge on the 'morning news' every morning & my teacher usually keeps teaching until like 5 minutes into the 'news' so we miss it. we had this like elderly sub one time, and she stood up all patriotic like & gave everybody who didn't stand for the pledge really dirty looks after the 'news' like GR EAT but i glared at her and she gave me one of those 'dang teenagers ruining america' looks bless

like i was so used to saying the pledge? i was always like saying it bc u were like 'omg anti-patriot rebel!!!1111!' otherwise

also like i was walking w/ my parents to a restaurant?? and there was this giGANTIC PAINTING OF A BALD EAGLE ON A BRICK WALL OUTSIDE OF LIKE A PAINT SHOP ohmygOD and i was like 'ew wtf america is so gross cant get away from patriotism' or some shit and my mom was like all fucking self-righteous like 'u dont believe in patriotism??' and i was like 'lmao not for america like bc its so shitty' and my mom is like 'wel;;l;.... fcukin antiamerica trahs...love this country..' like amazing
