Listening to the tracks, you can really take in the innovation and place yourself in the time.
The full picture of who the man was tho is a little disheartening.
It’s another one of those situations where you separate the art from the artist because all of our faves have their abuser, narcissist, back-stabbing tendencies and J Dilla was no different. I want to say that we’re all humans, but which of us is clocking our girlfriends or boyfriends in the face and rocking their shit? I mean, it’s a lot.
