Dillion didn’t want to be mean, so when his former colleague asked him to come out with him, he said yes. Though, now he was not in the best of moods. They were all drinking like crazy and Dillion was making sure to just sip on the Sprite that he had asked for. As he kept himself away from everyone he hadn’t expected someone to walk up to him. “Um, hey.” He responded as he looked around, making sure that they were actually talking to him.

As Dillion was driving after picking them up from the airport. He felt as though his bones were vibrating from excitement. They had been talking for so long and now they were there, right next to him, in the flesh. He let out a small laugh.
“Well, I’m glad to know that you aren’t some sort of catfish.” He joked as he gave a small gaze over to match their eyesight for a small second before focusing back on the road. “Are you sure you’re okay with staying at mine for the time you’re here?”

Dillon rubbed his face with his hands as he heard the other walking into the house. “Hey.” He said in a quiet tone as he let his legs stretch out. “I was going to try and take a nap. But that never really happened.” He said as he pushed himself up slowly from the couch. “I harvested all the veggies that will die from the cold. So we have a good deal of them to make some nice dishes.”
