TORIEL; SANS; UNDERTALE; UNDERFELL; OK HEAR ME OUT IM SURE IT WOULD NOT BE A FAIR FIGHT; TORIEL IS MERCIFUL AND UNDERFELL SANS COULD USE THAT TO HIS ADVANTAGE AT SOME POINT; BUT TORI IS A BOSS MONSTER; WE ACTUALLY DON'T KNOW THEIR TRUE POTENTIALS TORI DID NOT WANT TO FIGHT AND SANS BBY WAS TOO EXHAUSTED AND DEATH ALL AROUND WAS TAKING; IT'S TOLL ON HIM WE DO NOT KNOW FOR CERTAIN HOW SCARY THEY ACTUALLY ARE; SANS WOULD BE STRATEGICALLY BETTER HE KNOWS HOW TO USE HIS ANALYSING //SCIENCE-Y// PERSONALITY; TORI WOULD USE BRUTE FORCE SHE IS SUPER F STRONG AND DESPITE THAT SHE HAS SOME VARIETY OF ATTACKS TOO; NOW THERE IS THIS '1 DAMAGE PER SEC' THING SANS DOES WHICH IS TOO DANGEROUS NOT TO CARE; SANS CAN DODGE ATTACKS SANS CAN BEND THE WHOLE DYNAMICS OF BATTLE TO HIS WILL; SO IT WON'T BE AN EASY BATTLE THERE WILL BE BLOOD (KETCHUP) THERE WILL BE PAIN AND OMG LOTS OF BONES AND FIRE AND BONES ON FIRE; THAT WOULD BE ONE HELL OF A BOSS FIGHT; TBH AS LONG AS SANS WON'T BE DISTRACTED (BE IT VISIONS FROM OTHER TIMELINES OR A CRY FROM HIS BROTHER FROM SOMEWHERE :3C ) HE WILL WIN; BUT JUST ONE MOMENT ONE RECKLESS MOMENT WOULD END HIS 1HP LIFE; via @dilselim post
i hope you don’t mind me responding BUT YES
Strategically, I do think Sans has the superior advantage, especially with his CHEATS and his poison and his dimensional warping and it would be a very, very difficult fight
BUT.
BUT.
Toriel IS a boss monster, and she’s not just fighting for anything. She’s fighting for Frisk. She’s fighting to protect her CHILD. And she’s already lost ONE child, she knows the pain of loss and grief. In fact, that’s wrong-- she’s already lost two children. She won’t lose a third. Never, ever, ever.
If it’s to protect Frisk, I think Tori will win in the end. She has the determination and the strength, and the endurance to wear Sans out and make him tired and then HAMMER HIM. If Undyne the Undying can cheat death, I think Toriel, as a boss monster with a naturally stronger soul, can also do this and keep fighting even as she’s hit again and again and again by Sans’s unfair attacks.
A mother’s determination to protect her child, after failing to protect her two others-- I think that is her winning edge and Underfell!Sans better watch out and back off.
