Hong Kong Summer Adventure 2019
It is the start of the summer school holidays and my family is embarking on a fun adventure to Hong Kong where my two nieces will be visiting Disneyland for the first time.
On the first day of our summer adventure, we had to visit the famous Dim Dim Sum to savor its signature dishes such as piggy custard buns, pork dumplings with crab roe, and steamed shrimp dumplings.
For dessert, we took a short stroll to Yee Shun Milk Company to sample its silky milk pudding which keeps its loyal fans coming back for more.
After a short nap, it was time for dinner and we navigated through the Ladies’ Market during sunset to experience the hustle and bustle of the city.
Dinner was a coincidental pit stop at Good News Barbecue Restaurant located at 110 Portland Street which is renowned for its BBQ skewers, grilled seafood, and pasta dishes.
I loved every single dish that we ordered, ranging from garlic bread and butter enoki mushrooms to grilled tofu, duck breast meat, and oysters. Each BBQ skewer was expertly prepared and served by attentive staff that made my nieces feel welcomed during their meal. I would definitely recommend all BBQ lovers to visit this restaurant to satisfy their food cravings.
One last stop before the end of the day was dessert at Hui Lau Shan to enjoy its summer mango dessert and its signature chinese herbal jelly.
