[ Dozens and dozens of shelves curling and twisting every which way, including on the ceilings, and despite the change of their angle the books would sit there ignoring typical gravity laws. All filled to the brim with countless information and stories, just waiting to be picked up and enjoyed. This was one of Enzo’s favorite realms that they had recently discovered, a realm dedicated entirely to literature! They had all sorts of books, every genre, and they even had a special section for kids like them! A bookworm's worst and best dream, endless reading materials everywhere, all to indulge in. Most avid reading fans wouldn’t survive here, and the star child thanked themselves internally they were only here for the children’s storybooks. So many heroes, destined to seek out on their path; fated to defeat dragons, corrupt kings, and any other villain who dared stand in their path! It was an enchanting trope, wanting to be a hero yourself so you can be strong enough to go through anything quelling you. Maybe that’s why Enzo looked at such golden ambitions with total admiration and eagerness, yearning one day to be just like them. One day… ]
[ In the collector’s search for riveting tales in younger written works, they happened to glance curiously at others enjoying such a world themselves. Everyone was engrossed in every book they could get their hands on, and if not, they were searching for the right one to get engrossed in. It was a blissful world, easy to get lost centuries in–and they were yet again grateful they had the time to spare. Then, they saw someone familiar. Eerily familiar. A smaller person particularly caught their eyes, dressed in cultural attire that…no… They looked upward to see their face and…!
Memories started to come back the instant they looked at the stranger’s face–memories they didn’t want surfacing from the abyss. Memories they tried so desperately to shove back in, but they just kept bubbling up; getting dangerously close to the surface. Their temperament was naturally flexible and ever-changing, but this was different. They felt a certain kind of ire they hadn’t felt in years, not since… Since…
Would the best action to do be to run? No–no! Enzo has run enough, if they don’t confront the Archivists about this, it will only continue. They had to be courageous! Like the heroes they fantasized to be… This realm was a strictly neutral territory, and any acts of violence would get you banned eternally. They had to take this elsewhere. ]
[ A simple raise of the hand was all it took to indicate teleportation, the star child and accused both ripped out of the realm to some distance outside its doors. Purple and pink flora swayed in the natural breeze blowing through, but it was already whipping up harshly in sync with the child’s raging emotions. Nothing distracted them as they used their strong levitation magic onto the other to hold them in place, as tightly as possible–maybe too tight. ]
“You…!” [ their red eyes burned bright. ] “Why are you guys here?! I don’t want to go back!!”
