Years of dealing with Gideon had taught the Ravenclaw the wonderful art of lying, and knowing when someone had done something they hadn’t meant to. On top of that, it wasn’t the first time the twins had been confused for one another. So Fabian only gave the Hufflepuff a pointed look and shrugged him off, cracking a grin. “You’re a terrible liar, although the sentiment is appreciated,” he commented lightly, turning to face him.

Amos knew he wasn't the best liar, but he also didn't know he was this much of a crappy one. Granted, it had been a really horrible lie, but still he had a lot of confidence in himself. "I'm... not that bad of a liar.." He said, now looking his friend in the eyes. "You're just... experienced in the art of lie detecting." He said, though he hadn't let go. "I mean, with a brother like Fabian, you'd just have to be." He said, getting the name wrong on purpose.
