mags clutched the forty-pound box of copy paper in her arms, finally able to turn around inside the room. upon seeing a groupmate, she called out. "hey! um..did they say to bring a whole box of copy paper or just a couple of packets?" she was slightly embarassed, having felt unprepared by not being so fluent by the time she landed. but logically, she knew that you can't just learn a language right away. Eilis smiled when she spotted Dimitri in the gym. She’d come to think of the older student as something of a mentor, and always enjoyed working out with him. Grabbing the machine next to him, she said “I’m glad they finally let us out of our dorm rooms. I was getting sick of looking at the same four walls all day.” The dorms had never been her favorite part of the school, of course, not when there were so many more interesting places to be. But now she liked the dorms even less.

THE RECENT news didn’t bother drew as much as he thought. the only thing that really bothered him was how the people he had gotten to know would react to him. the very top of the list was his roommates - namely ruby and spencer. caleb might just be surprised at drew’s willingness to go through with it. with all of those thoughts in his head, he turned down a hall to where he thought the library would be. a place to finally calm his head. however, as his head was down, drew had inadvertently bumped into another person. he sighed deeply and hoped that this one wouldn’t be a fight. “sorry ‘bout that, man.”
