[before the accident]

Din was sleeping peacefully in a hammock under the shade of trees, away from the Troodon Town. On the table to the left were juice with a straw, a pack of meat chips, a walkman with headphones, a children's magazine, his glasses, a tool belt and a phone. But he was abruptly awakened by a loud train horn.

Wilson (honking loudly): HEY!!! DIIIIN!!!

Din woke up in surprise, screamed, and fell off the hammock.

Din (displeased, putting on his glasses): Wilson, how many times do I have to tell you not to scare me like that anymore

Wilson: Come on! It's so funny to watch you scream.

Din: Well, it's not cool for me! I was scared half to death! Anyway, where were you going?

Wilson: Have you seen the Pteranodon Family?

Din: They're in the Troodon Town, but why do you need them?

Wilson: I want to show them the coolest trick in the world - I'll try to take off like a pteranodon.

Din: Wilson, this is stupid and dangerous! You could derail, break down, or worse! You better not do this!

Wilson: Calm down, you little bespectacled man! I can do it! Okay, I'm off, come on!

Wilson drove off, and Din watched him go, feeling a little nervous.

Din (to himself): If only nothing serious happened to him!

[After the accident]

Din (looking at Wilson with a slight smile): I warned you! This is a lesson for you - show off less.

Wilson: That's it, Dean, I get it. I'm sorry I didn't listen.

Din: Okay, let's fix you up! You'll be as good as new

Wilson: Thank you, despite your height, you are the kindest troodon in the world.

The top one took the longest because I made the mistake of trying to draw the interior of a computer

[Human AU]

** Sonny** (resolutely, addressing Cain): That's enough! Back off, Cain, you've lost

Cain (in rage, with hatred): I will never give up.

Cain (baring his teeth): You're all dead!

(Cain rushes at everyone. Din rushes forward to stop him. A short fight ensues between an adult and a teenager, during which they fall into a ravine.)*

(Din manages to grab onto a rock ledge, but his glasses fall off and hit the river. Cain clings to the edge of a cliff above a rushing river.)

Din (holding out his paw, sincerely): Cain! Give me your hand!

Cain tries to hurt him, but slips off

Din (insistently): Cain, come on! I will help

Cain (looks at the outstretched paw, then looks up at Din with an expression of irreconcilable hatred, and smiles): No! Never

(Cain unclenches his hands and falls into a stormy river. The current instantly picks him up and carries him away.)*

Din looks at the river and sighs sadly.

** Thurston** (goes down to Din, helps him up, quietly): Din! Glory to the God, you're alive!

Din (sadly, looking down, hugging his father): Dad, I tried, but He couldn't let go of the hate.…

They went upstairs. Din was first hugged by Sonny and Tricia, then by Trevor and Tabitha, then by Mr. and Mrs. Pteranodon, and finally by Gilbert, Tiny, Shiny, and Don

Buddy (hugging Din): Thank you! I owe you one.

Din (hugging Buddy back): Please

Tiny (comes closer, puts her head on Din's shoulder): Now we're moving forward. Together. Let's go back home.

(Everyone gathers together, looking after the receding current of the river that carried away Cain. There is silence, marking the beginning of a new day.)*

I've been reading Bad Blood a bit, and I was wondering what would have happened if my character Din had saved Buddy from Cain. May the creators of fanfiction forgive such improvisation

I am not a professional artist, but an amateur one. My first attempt to depict Thurston with little Din, May Nakamo Papino forgive me for using one of her sketches of Thurston with Gilbert as the basis for my drawing

Din and his best friend, the German Shepherd Rex (I'm sorry if the dog came out bug-eyed.)

Rex is a one-year-old German Shepherd that Thurston gave Din for his 3rd birthday to instill in his son a sense of responsibility and love for animals. Rex is smart, easy-going, obedient, and will never attack (as long as he protects Din from bullies (mostly from Keenan) and the house from outsiders). Rex loves his master very much, Din, in turn, loves his dog no less and is always ready to walk with him and teach new commands.

Din, when he got the task to fix Wilson

[During of Tiny's sentence.]

Din: Um, Mr. Sonny, can I talk to you in private?

Sonny: Sure, what's up?

Din: I understand about what Tiny did, but can we make an exception?

Sonny (raising an eyebrow): What are you talking about, mechanic?

Din: Can I take her out for a day? I just want to take her for a walk, play with her, show her my dog Rex, and eat at a fast-food restaurant. I promise I'll keep an eye on her and bring her back to the train by evening.

Sonny thought for a moment, knowing that Din wanted to give Tiny a day of joy, but he also couldn't break the court's ruling.

Sonny: Wait a minute, I need to make a call.

He quickly dialed a number and started talking to someone. Din nervously fiddled with the edge of his conductor's vest.

Sonny (after 3 minutes of conversation): Din, you're in luck. They've agreed to let Tiny out for a day, but you're responsible for her.

Din (shaking Sonny's hand): THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'll go tell Tiny.

A few minutes later,

Din: Tiny, I have some news for you.

Tiny (finishing the seat repair): Oh, what's that?

Din: Well, I talked to Mr. Sonny, and he made a call, and they've agreed to let you out for a day.

Tiny (hiding tears of happiness): Really?

Din: Really

Tiny would never have thought that someone would give her such a gift

Tiny (hugging Din): Thank you, thank you very much

Din (hugging Tiny back): You're welcome

They eagerly awaited the day they would spend together

Part 3

Din trudged along beside his father, still frowning, but no longer clenching his fists. Thurston carried his skateboard under his arm—the board looked pathetic: scratched, with a burnt edge where the fireworks were mounted.

Din: And if she starts saying it was cool again? That I'm just a coward and didn't understand the genius of the plan?

Thurston (without looking at his son, but attentively): Then you will say, "I am not a coward. I just don't want to be a projectile." And everything. Simple and honest. She doesn't need long speeches, Din. She needs to hear that her "genius" hurts someone.

Din glanced at his father, as if checking to see if he was joking.

Din: Do you think she'll hear?

Thurston: I think so. If you say it not with anger, but so that she understands.: you trust her, and she broke that trust. It hits harder than a scream.

They entered the house. The warm smell of fresh pastries immediately enveloped Din, and he relaxed a little. Thurston put skateboard by the door, took off his son's jacket and sat him on a stool at the kitchen table.

Thurston: Sit down. It's going to be cocoa. And a pie. And then the conversation. No rush.

While Thurston was busy at the stove, Din fiddled with the helmet's belt buckle, fiddling with it back and forth as if he wanted to take it apart.

Din (softly, almost to himself): What if she says I'm boring?

Thurston (turning around, with a slight smile): And you'll say, "Yes, I'm boring. But he's alive." And it will be the truth.

He placed a steaming mug in front of Din and a plate with a piece of cherry pie, even with an extra cherry on top.

Din (sighing, but without the old fury): Okay… Let's try. But if she starts laughing…

Thurston (sitting down opposite, seriously): If she starts laughing, I'll talk to her myself. But first, let me give you a chance to hear. Agreed?

Din nodded, cupped the mug in his hands, feeling the warmth slowly creep over his fingers, and took the first sip.
